Friday Jummah
Jummah is the Friday congregational prayer in Islam. It is one of the most important Islamic rituals and one of its confirmed obligatory acts. Jummah is held every Friday afternoon, instead of the Zuhr prayer.

Incorporated on December 10, 2001 to:
-promote, encourage, and foster religious and social
activities
-offer a place of worship and a gather place for social
activities
-serve the best interests of Islam and Bosnian Muslims
living in and around Chicago
-carry on religious, social, charitable, educational, and
other activities in accordance with the faith of Islam
-educate its members and children by conducting
religious classes
-promote the social and civic betterment of its members
along the lines of its Islamic and Bosnian traditions, the
American Constitution, and democratic institutions
-strengthen fraternal relations and understanding
between Bosnian and other Muslims
-promote friendly relations and understanding between
Muslims and non-Muslims
-promote Islam to followers of other faiths
-promote among its members and within the
community fraternal feelings, good and moral behavior,
and humanitarian conduct among themselves and
others
